HOW GRANITE IS FORMED?
Granite is formed from volcano lava, also known as magma. When it is compressed repeatedly, it turns to approximately 60% of feldspar, 30% of mica, and 10% of quartz. The rust on the Earth gives more of the yellow and golden-brown colours to the igneous rock. The rock with more quartz and mica, glitters more.
Granite is available all over the world now. Until the millennium, Italians were untouchable in the granite industry .With their wise knowledge, traditional background and with advanced technology, they were ruling the granite industry, we all know Italians are base and the backbone for the construction industry .Because of the industry growth ,now countries like Brazil, India and China, joined the race and they were very successful. RADIATION IN GRANITE ….. IS IT TRUE?
Yes it’s true. Granite emit radon gas...!!! As I said, the igneous rock, which pushes up toward the surface, becomes granite. In some places on its path, igneous rock comes across radioactive substance too. Radiation is what you cannot see, smell or feel. Most of the researchers declared that radiation in granite is not harmful unless you have cancer patient at home and if you would really like to have a granite countertop. Please test the stone with “Radon test kit”. In 2008, ‘radiation in granite’ become a very popular topic , So many of the house owners, who already had granite and panicked .I am not a scientist, not a researcher. I am not good at those topics. So I cannot declare a proper answer for this.
